UTA Achieves SSAE 16 Audit Certification for 2014

United Tranzactions (UTA) is pleased to announce that an independent audit has been completed for the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16. The evaluation included a full assessment of Operations, Customer Service, Information Technology organization, and Risk Assessment monitoring. “The SSAE 16 compliance designation affirms UTA’s continued commitment to provide excellence in service levels while operating at the highest industry and regulatory standards” Dean Middleton, President of United Tranzactions, said in a statement. SSAE 16, which replaces the previous SAS70 auditing standard, is one of the most widely accepted compliance initiatives that was designed for service organizations. A critical component in achieving SSAE 16 compliance is an organization's ability to reduce risk and provide clients with controlled security measures. Kaufman Rossin & Co., a certified public accounting firm, issued the final audit report. The audit was conducted in accordance with attestation standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It included a test of UTA’s records and other procedures considered necessary to establish an opinion about the design of UTA’s controls.
